Francesca Caltabiano
Francesca, the story of a jewelry designer:
She designed jewelry that exudes a distinctive elegance when worn. I am also inspired by ancient fairy tales and modernity and the forces of nature. “This is her blend of values, rigor and excess, refinement and joy, magic and wisdom.”
Francesca, an Italian jewelry designer, lives between Florence and Bali. Always passionate about jewelry, cinema and fashion. As a teenager she studied ballet and was crazy about minerals and stones. She was also in love with international singer-songwriters since she was very small.
She graduated in Fashion Marketing and became a Gemologist at the Gemological Institute of America in New York. Her jewelry reflects her passions and interests, including memories, dreams, fairy tales, and contemporary art. Returning to Italy, she co-founded the high jewelry company “K di Kuore” and founded her own brand “Francesca Caltabiano”. Her jewelry has been displayed in art galleries or concept stores around Italy and Europe.
She spent a few months in Bangkok, looking for unique gems and teaching “Fashion and Cinema” at top Thai universities. In 2013, she created “Frisson,” a notable collection inspired by ancient Italian mosaics and made with materials like wood and resin, famous for its striking contrasts.
